VMworld(R) 2011 Europe Set to Attract More Than 6,500 Attendees to Copenhagen

(NYSE: VMW), the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, today unveiled the speaker lineup and sponsorship list for the European virtualization and cloud infrastructure industry event of the year, VMworld® 2011 Europe in Copenhagen, Oct. 18 - 20, 2011.

Building on the conference theme, "Your Cloud, Own It," laid out at VMworld 2011 in Las Vegas, the European event will feature more than 200 unique breakout sessions from VMware and its ecosystem of partners and customers that are driving innovation in the virtualization and cloud computing industry. Closing the event on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 9 a.m. CEST (3 a.m. EST), VMware CEO Paul Maritz will take an inside look at the forces shaping Cloud Computing and the next generation of IT. VMworld 2011 Europe will feature more than 25 lab topics with almost 8,000 lab seats conducting up to 240 simultaneous lab sessions during the three-day event. In addition, this year VMworld connects attendees directly with subject-matter authorities through the Knowledge Experts Program.
