VOICE 2012 Conference Expands to Feature High Quality Presentations for Both the V93000 and T2000 Platforms

Registration Open for April 24-26 Conference in San Jose

CUPERTINO, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 2, 2012) - VOICE 2012, a users group meeting and partners conference organized by Verigy, an Advantest Group company (TSE: 6857) (NYSE: ATE), will include an extensive strong technical program with papers from users of the V93000 and T2000 platforms. The event, to be held April 24-25 in San Jose, California, is an international forum for sharing technical content and exchanging perspectives on the latest semiconductor testing techniques and best practices.

"This year, we received a record number of abstracts from semiconductor manufacturers from around the world which demonstrates the increasing popularity of the event," said Freescale's Gabriel Tellechea, chairperson of this year's VOICE program committee. "The committee selected 66 presentations, including contributions from 17 companies in 12 countries. In addition to the excellent contributions from our customers, we will present 18 papers focused on the T2000 platform, further strengthening our already robust technical program."

Additionally, VOICE 2012 will include an expanded kiosk session staffed by Advantest and Verigy R&D staff, industry experts and supplier technologists and will highlight a V93000 Smart Scale A-Class system. Attendees can also visit the Suppliers' Expo to learn more about products and offerings that complement the V93000 and T2000 platforms.

Following last year's success, the VOICE 2012 conference will include the one-day, hands-on workshop with four full-day sessions dedicated to educating test engineers on topics which will directly impact their test throughput, performance and Time to Market on the V93000 and T2000 platforms: Advanced Mixed Signal and RF optimization utilizing pattern controlled DC and hidden results transfer, Protocol Aware Implementation, T2000 functional test abstraction and RF tuning of multi-site DUT boards.

"This year's conference is expected to attract more than 300 test engineering and management professionals from more than 50 companies around the world, including foundries, fabless semiconductor companies and integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) as well as Advantest and Verigy's strategic partners," added Tellechea.
