Voice Mobility Provides Multi-Tenant Hosted Messaging

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 17, 2005) -

Service Provider solution provides open-standards, industry standard messaging application to Avaya, capable of hosting multiple tenants in a carrier environment

Voice Mobility Inc. (TSX:VMY)(OTCBB:VMII)(FWB:VMY), a Vancouver based developer and provider of carrier grade enhanced messaging solutions, today announced it is providing added functionality for the Avaya Hosted Messaging solution. Avaya is a global leader in business communications applications, systems and services.

Voice Mobility has designed a hosted IP messaging solution that hosts multiple tenants on the same, secure platform allowing for economies of scale not typically found in the market. Carriers may amalgamate TDM (time division multiplexing) and IP networks facilitating a gracefully migration from costly legacy technology to IP. Fixed wireless convergence features allow service providers and enterprises to streamline their communication and messaging.

As part of its relationship with Avaya, Voice Mobility provides the technology and Avaya provides the solution kit for Avaya's Hosted Messaging Solution. Avaya is marketing the jointly developed solution as part of its portfolio of hosted products including Hosted IP Telephony, and Hosted Contact Centers.

"Voice Mobility is very pleased with the recent progress in our efforts with Avaya," said Randy Buchamer, Voice Mobility Chief Executive Officer. "With the market in the process of migrating to VOIP technology our joint service provider solution, Avaya Hosted Messaging, is receiving very positive feedback."
