VoiceInterop Identified as BSI Implementer by Department of Homeland Security

BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwire - April 16, 2009) - VoiceInterop, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cleartronic, Inc. (OTCBB: CLRI) (, a provider of unified communications (UC) solutions, was identified as one of the known Bridging System Interface implementers in the presentation given by the Office for Interoperability and Compatibility (OIC) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at the IWCE Expo last month.

The VoIP Working Group, which includes Department of Homeland Security (DHS) OIC, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Office of Law Enforcement Standards; and the Institute for Telecommunications Sciences (ITS) are working with public safety and industry representatives to improve emergency response interoperability through the use of VoIP.

OIC, NIST, and ITS are working with emergency responders and industry representatives to define a common connection for bridging devices using VoIP, regardless of the manufacturer. The Bridging Systems Interface (BSI), finalized in September 2008, is the Working Group's first specification. When implemented in bridging equipment, the BSI provides basic voice interoperability.

"We are pleased that DHS included VoiceInterop along with Twisted Pair Solutions, Cisco, Raytheon, and Motorola to name a few," said Larry Reid, CEO of VoiceInterop.
