SAN MATEO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 6, 2007 -- VoiceObjects, the leading phone application server company, today announced that its VoiceObjects Server 6.1 is compliant with key contact center self-service platforms from Avaya (NYSE: AV), a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.

The VoiceObjects phone application server enables businesses to deploy and easily manage automated customer service applications that are personalized for each caller. The product uses Web services to integrate contact center and enterprise information technology assets and supports multimodal phone applications, which may have voice, video, graphics and text interfaces.

The VoiceObjects Server 6.1 is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with: Avaya Interactive Response 2.0, a standards-based self-service platform that uses speech and touchtone to automate contact center transactions; and Avaya Voice Portal 3.0, a next-generation software platform for self-service solutions that can speech-enable Web services across a highly distributed enterprise.
