Voleo Inc. Announces FINRA Membership of Voleo USA, Inc.

Voleo USA, Inc. Is Now a Registered Broker-dealer, Setting the Stage for Collaborative Investment in the United States

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - June 28, 2016) - Vancouver-based fintech company Voleo Inc. ("Voleo") announces that its wholly owned US subsidiary, Voleo USA, Inc. (Voleo USA) has been approved by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA") to act as an introducing broker-dealer.

"This is an important step on the journey towards launch of Voleo's innovative mobile-first social trading platform", said founder and co-Chairman, Jay Sujir.

Over the course of nearly two years, Voleo has developed a sophisticated group trading platform that enables users to combine their assets and knowledge to invest together with people they know and trust. Directly from their mobile phones, tablets or computers, users are able to propose, discuss and vote on trades in publicly listed stocks and ETFs, wherever and whenever they want, with the majority effecting trades automatically. Voleo's users may benefit both from splitting the cost of a single trade and the collective intelligence of their teams. Adding a competitive element to a collaborative platform, each person's decisions are tracked and hypothetical positions managed so they can prove to their friends how things would have gone if everyone had listened to them. The transparency builds a community where top performers can be followed, and the best ideas validated with peers.

Mark Morabito, Voleo's Executive Chairman states "Voleo is such a disruptive technology that Accenture selected Voleo as the sole wealth management platform in its London FinTech Innovation Lab 2016, and we are now engaged in pilot and partnership discussions with banks in the UK, Europe and Asia."

On June 1, 2016, Voleo USA received its Membership Agreement from FINRA and is now officially registered as a broker-dealer with FINRA and the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"). The recent appointment of Apex Clearing as carrying broker has resulted in technical integration for customer onboarding to commence, upon completion of which Voleo will recognise its first revenue. This is anticipated to occur in the second half of 2016, with the US launch to follow as soon as practicable thereafter.

Voleo expects to reverse the trend of declining retail investor participation in the stock market by breaking down barriers to entry, facilitating trust and improving financial literacy.

For a limited time, those who wish to practice investing can do so using Voleo SimuTrader. Available in app stores internationally, users can form a team to deploy a simulated million-dollar portfolio, or make multiple clubs and practice different investment strategies.
