Volta Files Updated NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Kiaka Gold Project


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 8, 2011) - Volta Resources Inc. ("Volta" or the "Company") (TSX:VTR) announced that it has filed an updated National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical report entitled "Updated Mineral Resource Estimate of Kiaka Gold Project, Burkina Faso" (the "Technical Report") with Canadian securities regulators, pursuant to the Company's news release dated June 29, 2011. The mineral resource estimate is effective as of June 28, 2011.
