Votecalgary.ca to Host Candidates From 14 Wards for Aldermanic Forum

Calgary's First and Only All Ward Aldermanic Forum

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 12, 2010) -

WHAT: Votecalgary.ca, on behalf of the Canadian Home Builder's Association– Calgary Region (CHBA - Calgary) and the Urban Development Institute Calgary (UDI - Calgary), will be hosting a dinner meeting and Aldermanic Forum on October 13th, 2010. The Forum will feature aldermanic candidates from all 14 wards who will be asked one of 14 ward-specific questions regarding housing and development issues in Calgary that are of key importance to the industry and the City.
   
**Please note: This event is selling a limited number of tickets to the public. Tickets may be purchased on the CHBA – Calgary website. Registration closes on Friday, October 8th, 2010 at 4 p.m.
   
WHEN: October 13th, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
   
  5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Cocktails and mini candidate tradeshow
  6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Dinner and Aldermanic Forum
   
WHERE: Coast Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre

WHO: It is expected that candidates from all 14 Calgary wards will be in attendance. To participate, candidates were required to complete a votecalgary.ca survey.
   
  Mayoral candidates have also been invited to attend the dinner and observe the forum.
   
**Please note that candidates will be available for interviews and photo opportunities during the mini tradeshow and immediately following the panel.
