VoX Communications Launches 8-Port Linksys Product Targeting Small Business Users

CELEBRATION, FL--(Marketwire - February 26, 2008) - VoX Communications Corp., a provider of SIP-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions for service providers and consumers worldwide, today announced that it has launched support for the Linksys SPA8000 small business analog telephone adapter (ATA), as it extends its penetration into the small business wholesale market.

VoX President and CIO, Mark Richards, stated, "We have been developing some exciting small business products and we are now shipping 8-port ATAs to small businesses as an affordable and easy-to-use alternative to a traditional PBX phone system. Many of our wholesale customers have been asking for a multi-port ATA for their small business customers, and we are very pleased with the quality and reliability of Cisco / Linksys SPA8000, which we now sell and support. Before we were willing to send the SPA8000 to our customers, we internally developed call-hunting capability so that calls received by businesses using VoX's managed packet network will hunt for the next available line. We are not aware of any other company that is providing this functionality with the SPA8000. This expansion of our services into the small business arena demonstrates our resolve to broaden our footprint into business services and to add to our portfolio of products. We will continue to introduce other business products in 2008."

Small businesses anywhere in the world with a broadband connection can utilize the 8-Port ATA. Customers can purchase and link up to three ATAs per location and receive the call-hunting feature over all 24 lines. The VoX VoIP service also includes call-waiting, call-forwarding, three way calling, business class voicemail, caller ID and a rich variety of other business class and dial-tone features. VoX and its wholesale broadband customers work together to provide a bundle of high quality voice and broadband services that enable small businesses to utilize business class telecommunications services for a fraction of the cost of traditional wireline services. The low cost for the 8-port ATA, plus the low cost of the digital business voice service is a powerful incentive to small businesses that are seeking to decrease the cost of their telephone service.
