VroomVroomVroom Bets on Las Vegas for U.S. Expansion

Leading Australian Car Rental Company Moves Into The Rob Roy inNEVation Center

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - October 23, 2013) - VroomVroomVroom, an online comparison website for car rentals, has started its U.S. expansion into The Rob Roy inNEVation Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Australian company arrived in Las Vegas in January, and is now setting up operations to grow market share in the U.S. from their Las Vegas corporate headquarters.

"It is rare for an Australian company to come here to try to crack into the highly competitive U.S. car rental market," said David Eastes, director and manager at VroomVroomVroom. "But after 10 years in the Australian market growing our brand, we felt it was time. The inNEVation Center provided us the perfect platform and environment to launch the business here."

At www.vroomvroomvroom.com, customers can choose and compare between all of the major car rental companies in the U.S. The company promises the best web-based prices from their suppliers and is passionate about providing the best customer experience possible.

Eastes arrived as the first "lone wolf" from his company. He didn't have an immediate need for an office, but felt the need to connect with the community and the growing technology industry in Las Vegas. His brother -- a fellow VroomVroomVroom owner and director -- turned him to The inNEVation Center.

"My goal was to set up shop, build relationships, and recon as much business as I could," said Eastes. "I was immediately hooked by the incredibly bright and talented people I was surrounded by at The inNEVation Center. The energy, environment and people were like nothing I'd seen before."

Although the company did look into Los Angeles and San Francisco, they decided Las Vegas was home. At The inNEVation Center, the company benefits from the local support of specialists in industries who can help grow the company -- web developers, human resource experts, programmers and business leaders. As VroomVroomVroom expands, they plan on hiring locally.

"Las Vegas had exactly what we were looking for," said Eastes. "Beyond the fact that Las Vegas is a global travel destination, it is affordable, has great weather, a growing technology community, awesome people and it's a prime location to entertain and meet up with our core clients and suppliers. The inNEVation Center made it the ultimate choice."

The inNEVation Center is a philanthropic effort by Switch SUPERNAP and its CEO and Founder Rob Roy to support economic diversification in Nevada. More than a dozen companies and technology startups are located in the center and benefit from the collaboration of Nevada entrepreneurs, business leaders and the community.

"Some of our competition has not innovated. They've remained stagnant, or have ignored customer service issues," said Eastes. "Here I am surrounded by successful people with mind-blowing ideas and innovations. This place truly makes me want to work harder to succeed at delivering the very best product to our customers."

The 65,000 square foot entrepreneurial and business hub provides the resources, education and connections necessary to start and grow great companies. Located near the Switch SUPERNAPS at the Las Vegas Digital Exchange Campus (LVDEC), the center offers business development resources including coworking space, executive suites and corporate headquarter options.

"VroomVroomVroom is a prime example of how The inNEVation Center is truly on task and succeeding in attracting companies to Las Vegas," said Kristi Overgaard, EVP of Awesomeness at The inNEVation Center. "We are committed to helping companies like VroomVroomVroom grow and prosper to boost and diversify Nevada's economy."

The office environment at The inNEVation Center is designed to stimulate the mind. Eastes notes that he gets twice as much work done, and creates more big ideas when at the center.

"Surround yourself with successful people and ideas, and you'll succeed," said Eastes. "In this high tech world we all live in, it really comes down to the people."
