Vuuch and SPIKE Awards Partner to Recognize and Evangelize Social Product Development

SUDBURY, MA--(Marketwire - Aug 6, 2012) - Vuuch, a leader in social product development, today announced their sponsorship of the 2012 Social Product Innovation (SPIKE) Awards. These awards recognize the best use of social strategies, processes and supporting technologies to improve innovation, product development and product management.

Now in its third year, the annual SPIKE Awards program is uniquely focused on how companies use social strategies and technologies for product development and innovation processes. Companies using social product development tools can:

  • Crowdsource feedback
  • Find and engage industry experts
  • Create companywide discussion groups for corporate initiatives
  • Organize cross functional team collaboration and drive decisions
  • Integrate social feedback and input into any collaborative product development application or process

"The SPIKE Awards are known for identifying fresh, exciting examples of companies that use social models and technologies to improve their innovation and product development processes. We're proud to work with sponsors like Vuuch, who provide solutions that link social interactions with product data to enable these kinds of results," said Amy Kenly, Social Product Innovation practice lead at Kalypso.

"Vuuch firmly believes social product development creates better and more innovative products," said Chris Williams, Vuuch founder and CEO. "By working with the SPIKE Awards, we can help educate product designers, engineers and manufacturers about the benefits of social product development."
