TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 14, 2012) - VVC EXPLORATION CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:VVC)(FRANKFURT:V7S) ("VVC" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bruno Dumais, C.A., to the Board of Directors effective immediately, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Robert Boisjoli. Mr. Boisjoli resigned as director of VVC to focus on his responsibilities as managing director of Atwater Financial Group. The Company wishes to thank Mr. Boisjoli for his dedicated service to the Company.
Mr. Dumais brings a wealth of financial expertise to the Board of VVC. Since October 2006, he has been Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Mitec Telecom, responsible for all of the Corporation's financial activities. Mr. Dumais joined Mitec Telecom as Director, Budget and Treasury in February 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Dumais was Senior Financial Analyst at Nortel Networks and Director, Finance and Administration for Premier Tech in Rivière-du-Loup, Québec.
