Seminars on: L'Occitane Omni-Channel DC & Big Data in the Warehouse

CARLSTADT, NJ--(Marketwired - Mar 2, 2015) - W&H Systems, Inc., a full-service integrator of material handling systems, announces the company will be showcasing omni-channel fulfillment systems, including their latest Shiraz Order Fulfillment System, at ProMat 2015 (Booth #4547) in Chicago, IL March 23 - 26, 2015. ProMat is the leading conference and exhibition on manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain with over 800 exhibitors. W&H Systems will also be presenting two educational seminars at the conference: "Building a Modern Omni-Channel Distribution Center for L'Occitane" and "Big Data in the Warehouse." Attendees will come away knowing best practices for omni-channel fulfillment, getting the most out of the data in your warehouse, and much more.

"W&H Systems understands that the most efficient warehouses are led by real-time information and with direct access into each function of your distribution center," said Chris Castaldi, Director of Business Development at W&H Systems. "Recognizing that viewing your warehouse's production from your mobile device, anywhere, at any time, will save you money, W&H Systems' Shiraz Warehouse Control System gives you visibility and control to make 'on-the-minute' decisions, getting your product out the door faster and for less."

W&H Systems Order Fulfillment System features pre-engineered modules focused on Omni-Channel distribution. Shiraz integrates easily with order fulfillment technologies, ERP systems, and Warehouse Management Systems. It directs operations for returns, shipping and manifesting, labeling, packing, order consolidation, labor and task management, packaging sortation, and order picking. Shiraz fulfillment concepts are flexible and able to pick slow, medium, and fast-moving products, and then pack them via manual, semi-automated, or automated packing procedures. Because of the variety of fulfillment requirements, Shiraz is available in three modes: Classic, Blue, and Performance. Modes handle between 8,000 and 100,000 items per day and offer a variety of picking and sortation methods.
