Fremont, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 24, 2005 -- W5 Networks, provider of wireless applications for the retail industry, announced today that Peter Magowan has joined the company's Board of Directors.

Magowan, President and Managing General Partner of the San Francisco Giants, is credited with playing a critical role in keeping the Giants in Northern California and building a new ballpark.
