Wabash National Corporation Secures Three-Year Purchase Agreement With Prime, Inc.

LAFAYETTE, IN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 2, 2005 -- Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) today announced confirmation of a three-year purchase agreement for 3,000 refrigerated vans with Prime, Inc., the largest refrigerated carrier in North America.

Per the agreement, which includes an option to expand the total number of units to 5,000 over the next six years, Prime, Inc. will purchase Wabash National's ArcticLite® trailers. Trailer production is expected to begin in September of 2005.
