Wainhouse Research Conference to Explore New Innovations in Collaboration Services

An Interactive Forum on "Driving Value through Innovation" for providers of Collaboration & Conferencing Services

DUXBURY, MA--(Marketwire - September 18, 2007) - Now in its fifth year, the Wainhouse Research Collaboration Service Provider (CSP) Summit is scheduled for October 29, 2007 at the Hilton Logan Airport in Boston. The Wainhouse Research CSP Summit will explore how social networks, fixed mobile convergence, and initiatives for unified communications will drive new growth in collaboration & conferencing services. The forum, which has become the premier industry insider event for the collaboration service provider community, will bring together top industry analysts, carriers, specialty service providers, and technology partners in a one-day intimate and interactive session.

Wainhouse Research estimates that the worldwide collaboration services market grew to $4 billion in 2006 and is forecast to climb to $6 billion by 2011 -- with audio conferencing minute volume climbing 26% in 2006 alone.(1) With this growth comes the challenge of increased competition, the advent of new services, and shifting client demands. This year's conference theme, "Driving Value through Innovation," will address these challenges and explore three themes: a) discover how hosted and managed services fit into the Social Networks, Fixed Mobile Convergence, and Unified Communications strategies, b) identify new services that will connect CSPs more tightly to existing clients and attract new ones, and c) quantify which new markets will provide real growth. These issues are relevant to both incumbent and emerging service providers and their technology partners.

Speakers at the conference include analysts from Wainhouse Research and representatives from Avaya, Agile Equity, ConferencePlus, Compunetix, IBM Lotus, Glance, Global Crossing, Pactolus, Radisys, ThinkEngine, and VerizonBusiness. The discussions and presentations are designed to foster a high degree of interactivity between speakers and event participants while focusing on practical strategies to drive adoption and growth. The format of the event also encourages opportunities for networking during the formal agenda and at the closing cocktail reception.

This year's session is conveniently scheduled to be one day prior to the Fall VON Boston conference so attendees can conveniently attend both events. For the agenda, session descriptions, speaker profiles, and to register, please visit us at
