Waiting Parking Lot Now Available for Drivers Picking Up Passengers at Montreal-Trudeau Airport

DORVAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwire - July 15, 2011) - In view of easing road congestion during the ongoing roadwork and improving service to its customers, Aéroports de Montréal is now offering free waiting parking lot to drivers who are picking up passengers.

Those wishing to greet arriving passengers at Montréal-Trudeau Airport may park free of charge for up to an hour in the ÉconoParc lot. This service is available for the summer.

To take advantage of this offer, users must take a coupon from the distributor at the entrance to the parking lot and reinsert it upon exiting. The free offer is valid for 60 minutes only. Since it is available only to drivers waiting for passengers, users should not leave their vehicles unattended. Moreover, users are requested to avoid idling.

Aéroports de Montréal wishes to remind that instant flight status information by text message (SMS) is available. Simply text the flight number to 23636 in order to receive an alert by SMS if the flight schedule changes or the flight is cancelled. In this way, greeters can avoid wasting time waiting at the airport. Standard text messaging rates apply.

Aéroports de Montréal is the local airport authority responsible for the management, operation and development of Montréal-Trudeau and Montréal-Mirabel international airports, under the terms of a lease entered into with Transports Canada in 1992. The Corporation employs 600 people.
