New this year, come out and meet the Niagara Region Walk for Muscular Dystrophy Community Partners who will have great information and resources and maybe even some giveaways! The Walk is fully accessible and participants can choose from a 1km or 5km route.

Your support will help those living with a neuromuscular disorder in your community like The Smith Family, this year's Niagara Region Walk for Muscular Dystrophy Ambassadors. Angela's son Ben was four when he was diagnosed with duchenne's muscular dystrophy. "I had never even heard of muscular dystrophy or even anyone who had it until the day Ben was diagnosed. Most people I tell what Ben has, I have to explain what it is, as they don't know either. I didn't realize what a horrible disease it is… The [Niagara Region] Walk [for Muscular Dystrophy] is a chance to get together with people who have the same goals of raising money and awareness of this disease."

Make a difference by registering for the Niagara Region Walk for Muscular Dystrophy and help raise funds to support those like The Smith Family living with a neuromuscular disorder in your community.
