Walk, Wheel, Roll or Run and Help Make Muscles Move! Join the 2011 Toronto Walk for Muscular Dystrophy

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 26, 2011) - The annual Walk for Muscular Dystrophy will be hosted by the Toronto volunteer planning committee on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at Cherry Beach / Clarke Beach Park. Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. with participant registration and the walk, wheel, roll or run begins at 11:00 a.m.

The Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is a fun event that the entire family can participate in, regardless of fitness level. The celebration includes activities for kids, snacks and refreshments, and even a visit from local Fire Fighters. The Walk is fully accessible and participants can choose from a 1km or 5km route.

Your support will help those living with a neuromuscular disorder in your community like the McCain Family, this year's Toronto Walk for Muscular Dystrophy Ambassadors. For the McCain family, the Toronto Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is about more than just raising money to support those living with neuromuscular disorders, it is also about the community joining together to support each other.
