Walker Audio to Demo Proscenium Black Diamond III Turntable at New York Audio Show

Attendees Will Have the Rare Opportunity to Hear What Has Been Called the Best Turntable in the World

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Mar 13, 2012) - Walker Audio, one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-end audio products, will offer a rare public demonstration of its flagship Proscenium Black Diamond III turntable in room 1507 at the Waldorf Astoria at the New York Audio Show from April 13th-15th. Considered by many to be the best turntable in the world, the Proscenium Black Diamond III is an uncompromised work of audio art that has to be experienced to be believed.

"This will be the first public showing of the Proscenium Black Diamond III turntable," says president Lloyd Walker who will be at the show to demo the turntable and answer questions. "Until now, only private demos were available. It's hard to believe that this turntable could be better than the earlier mark II version, but it is. We want to offer the public a chance to hear it for themselves."

The Proscenium Black Diamond III, a state-of-the-art all air-bearing, linear tracking turntable, is hand-built to exacting specifications. It features a modified suspension system decreasing the air pressure in the suspension chambers resulting in improved sound and extending the life of the air chamber pods. The company also added a separate, regulated air supply, new coupling material, new damping fluid and improved the record clamp assembly.

With more than 80 industry awards for its audio and video components and accessories, Walker Audio continually seeks to improve its products, "We often amaze ourselves at what we find and we are delighted to pass the improvements on to our customers," says Walker. All previously-purchased Proscenium turntables can be upgraded to the Black Diamond III specs.

Walker Audio will also demonstrate its high-end accessory products that can improve any audio or video system. "Every system has inherent issues like vibration and noise that must be counteracted. Our system-enhancing products are designed to address these issues so that the purest, most unadulterated music and video signals come through," says Walker.

Completing the system in room 1507 will be Burmester electronics and speakers and Silent Source Music Reference cables.
