Wall Street Communications Clients Receive Awards From Top Industry Media Brands


SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - Nov 21, 2013) - Wall Street Communications today announced that several of its clients, including Archimedia, Calrec Audio, Dejero, Forbidden Technologies, Harmonic, Joseph Fiber Solutions, Nexidia, Snell, Thomson Video Networks, Video Clarity, Volicon, and Wohler Technologies, have earned key editors' and readers' choice awards from leading industry publications this fall.

Recently, several of Wall Street Communications' clients were honored with inaugural NewBay Media Product Innovation Awards. Nexidia's Dialogue Search and Wohler Technologies multiscreen MPEG monitors both won in the "Video/TV" category. Harmonic's ProMedia® Xpress file-based transcoder, Thomson Video Networks' ViBE™ EM4000 encoder, and Video Clarity's ClearView Extreme 4K all earned honorable mentions.

During IBC2013, Joseph Fiber Solutions won a Best of IBC Award from the editors of TVBEurope and the IBC Daily for its 4K Replay Caddie, as did Dejero for its LIVE+ VSET and Dejero + Nucomm Connect Live Transmitters, and Nexidia for its Nexidia Dialogue Search and Nexidia QC solutions. In addition, Nexidia won an IABM Design & Innovation Award for Nexidia Dialogue Search and Nexidia QC, marking the first time that a single company has won two IABM Design & Innovation Awards. Nexidia was also named a 2013 Superior Technology Award Recipient (STAR) by the editors of TV Technology Europe for Nexidia QC.

Other Wall Street clients named 2013 STARs by TV Technology Europe include Forbidden Technologies, for its FORscene cloud video platform; Volicon, for its Media Intelligence Platform; Wohler Technologies, for its MPEG Series of video monitors; and Archimedia, for its Archimedia Master Media Player.

Calrec Audio won a Broadcast Engineering (BE) Pick Hit award for its Soccer Sidekick iPad® app, and Snell's Alchemist OD standards converter was also named a BE Pick Hit.
