Wall Street Futures Featured Company Universal Detection Technology (OTC BB: UDTT) Receives Industry Accolade

NOTE TO EDITORS: The Following Is an Investment Opinion Being Issued by The Wall Street Small Cap Reporter.

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 8, 2005 -- Wall Street Futures' featured company in the homeland security sector, Universal Detection Technology (OTC BB: UDTT), announced yesterday that it has received Frost & Sullivan's 2005 Technology Leadership Award in the field of biological detection.

Frost & Sullivan's Technology Leadership Awards recognize companies that pioneer the development and introduction of innovative technologies with the potential to impact several market sectors. Specifically, UDTT was recognized for its recently unveiled bacterial spore detection system, the BSM-2000, which Frost & Sullivan acknowledges can effectively detect potential bio-terror attacks on commercial buildings and public facilities.

In other news, UDTT recently announced an agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Commercial Service to promote the export of the BSM-2000. As part of the agreement, Commercial Service staff will facilitate meetings with prospective sales representatives and strategic partners.

Developed in cooperation with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the BSM-2000 was designed to detect bio-terrorism agents, such as anthrax, in the air. The device continuously tests air samples, measures the concentration of airborne bacterial spores in these samples, and looks for abnormal spikes in spore levels utilizing a proprietary technology. The BSM-2000 is capable of identifying potential threats in as little as 15 minutes -- saving countless lives.

UDTT is a manufacturer of airborne pollutant detection devices with a history of success that spans 30 years. With the emerging threat of bioterrorism, the company has focused its R&D efforts on real time biological weapon detection systems.

Shares of UDTT closed Tuesday at $0.165, relatively flat on modest volume thus far this week, though the stock has a recent history of trading above $0.30. Coupled with a proprietary technology that is attracting the attention of both the analyst community and trade media, the company's ongoing news activity could generate enough investor interest to return this stock to the $0.30-$0.35 range.

Also among Wall Street Futures' high-volume "stocks to watch" this week are Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT), Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO), and Siebel Systems (NASDAQ: SEBL).
