With the wind power industry expected to experience continued growth worldwide, Green Star Alternative Energy, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GSAE) should have the attention of investors looking to benefit from this explosive green market. Yesterday after the markets closed, the company issued a press release announcing the installation of the wind measurement tower at the 20 MW Belo Blato site. The NRG System wind sensor is standing at the coordinates of 45 degrees 13' 7.01" N latitude and 20 degrees 21' 21.01" E longitude.

Miodrag Andric, CEO of Green Star Alternative Energy, stated: "We are delighted to see the first tower in place; but this is only the beginning, as we have other locations that require analysis and development."

The terrain had been carefully analyzed and many months of preparation and licensing have culminated in this deployment. The data gathered will provide Green Star the ability to optimize the wind farm design and efficiency. Wellbury was commissioned to execute the placement and construction of our 60 meter tower.

In June, the company also announced the signing of an agreement between the Green Star/Notos JV and the Municipality of Titel. The arrangement allows Green Star to explore the economic viability of the regional wind resources; and upon evaluation, the right to develop wind power and supply the area with clean electricity.

The Municipality of Titel is located in the South Backa District of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Republic of Serbia. The current population is approximately 17,000 people. Titel is of significant interest to Green Star because of its geographical location. Its proximity to the famous Titelski Breg -- the location with the highest number of wind hours in the entire Balkan region -- provides for major wind power potential. Green Star will raise its wind sensor towers in the municipality during the third quarter of this year.

The stock closed yesterday at $1.70 a share.
