Wall Street News Alert: UDTT Chooses Horiba Jobin Yvon as the Manufacturer of the Spectrometer for Its Anthrax Detectors!

Yesterday after the markets closed, the company issued a press release announcing that it has chosen Horiba Jobin Yvon (JY) as its partner to manufacture the optical component of UDTT's bacterial spore detection units used for detection of endospores, such as anthrax, in its newly announced product launch of the BSM-2000.

The decision is to utilize JY's Fluorescence Modules in the JPL designed anthrax detector, BSM-2000. The modules will be installed in the first manufactured series of BSM-2000 to be shipped to our distributors and early adopters, including one for Quantum Automation pursuant to the purchase order announced on April 28th, 2005.
