NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwired - Jan 2, 2014) - Waller, the largest law firm headquartered in Nashville, announced today that Shane P. Morris and Elizabeth C. Sauer have been elected as partners. Morris is a member of Waller's tax practice; Sauer is a member of the firm's real estate practice.

Shane P. Morris advises business clients on complex tax issues arising throughout all stages of the business lifecycle. He has assisted clients in the formation of private equity, securities and real estate funds, and he provides tax counsel on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including international tax issues for U.S. companies conducting business overseas and foreign companies conducting business within the United States. Morris joined Waller in 2004 after earning his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University. He earned his B.S., magna cum laude, from Birmingham-Southern University.
Elizabeth C. Sauer advises investors, developers, managers and owner-operators in a wide variety of real estate transactions. Her experience spans the purchase, sale, leaseback, development, management, leasing and financing of raw land and improved assets including hospitals, outpatient facilities, medical office buildings, skilled nursing facilities, home health agency branches and drop sites, warehouse distribution centers and other industrial and commercial office buildings. She joined Waller in 2010 after working for Arent Fox in Washington, DC and Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs in Louisville, Ky. She earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004 and her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Virginia in 2001.
