Waller's Mark Greene Named Legal Industry Trailblazer by National Law Journal


NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwired - Jan 8, 2014) - Mark Greene, the chief business development officer for Waller, has been recognized as one of the top legal business "Trailblazers and Pioneers" by the National Law Journal, a prominent legal industry publication. Greene was honored in the communications category for advancing marketing practices within the legal profession.

"Today, most [law] firms are doing some sort of client surveys and market studies based on techniques Greene first brought to the industry almost 30 years ago," according to the publication.

Greene has been integral to the firm's award-winning marketing program since joining Waller in 2011. Throughout a career spanning more than three decades, he has held numbers of senior level positions at law firms and marketing agencies and also co-founded The Brand Research Company. Greene was inducted into the Legal Marketing Association's Hall of Fame in 2008 and is a Fellow and Trustee of the College of Law Practice Management. In addition, Greene currently serves on the board of the Tennessee Conservation Voters and is an assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of America.

He earned a Bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University and Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of North Carolina, where he has been recognized as a Distinguished Graduate Alumni.
