LOS GATOS, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 11, 2013) - Wanderful Media® today announced the availability of its Find&Save® for iPad app, bringing the virtual experience of flipping through newspaper circulars to the world's most popular tablet. While already available on mobile browsers, Find&Save for iPad provides shoppers with app specific features such as notifications when new sales have posted -- from the regular weekly circulars to Black Friday sales -- as soon as they go live.
"We believe the launch of Find&Save for iPad is a game changer for Wanderful Media," said Ben T. Smith, IV, CEO of Wanderful Media. "When we reimagined what the digital circular should look like, we believed the best browsing experience would be on the tablet. With Find&Save for iPad, we are combining the product features available in the mobile browser, with the unique experience only a native app can bring."
The new Find&Save for iPad app is iOS 7-friendly and includes millions of items from more than 18,000 brands, and features:
- New sales alerts: iPad app users will get notifications when the latest circular from their favorite retailers have posted.
- Flip through circulars: The app features a virtual page flipping experience through retail circulars.
- Tag, drag and add to lists: When saving products in the iPad app, shoppers can use their fingers to easily tap and drag items to their personalized lists.
- Heads up on expiring sales: Shoppers will receive app notifications for key events such as items expiring on their shopping list so they never have to miss a sale.
- Quick access to favorite stores and categories: The app includes a My Favorites tab giving shoppers quick access to a tiled view of stores and categories they are following.
The Find&Save app also includes the popular features available on FindnSave.com, such as the ability to follow favorite stores and categories, and share finds with friends on Facebook, Twitter or email.
Continued Find&Save updates
Since the launch of the new Find&Save in April, Wanderful Media has rolled out new features in a continuous effort to improve Find&Save across tablet, mobile and web browsers. For example, new location detection enables shoppers to more easily find a deal at a store nearby. The shopper's location is automatically detected and the local market is highlighted on the Find&Save home page.
Wanderful Media has also developed a Facebook App that uses location detection to surface the Find&Save homepage in the app and on Find&Save's Facebook fan page.
The latest weekly circular pages were recently fully integrated into Find&Save. The circular page view can be found by clicking on a circular thumbnail from the homepage or a store page. This takes shoppers to the grid view of the circular content. After clicking the "flyer" button shoppers can view the circular pages as they appear in print.
In addition, Wanderful Media has expanded its partnership and advertising opportunities for retailers. Wanderful Media has been working closely with key retail partners like Macy's, who recently signed on as a sponsor. Macy's is using Find&Save to promote its weekly and event driven sales events. The company is also working with the sales teams of its more than 400 media affiliates to bring advertising opportunities on Find&Save to regional and SMB retailers.
