Wanderport Corporation Successfully Determines Heat Exchanger Dimensions and Parameters

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 21, 2010) - Wanderport Corp. (PINKSHEETS: WDRP) today announced that the company has successfully determined the appropriate dimensions and parameters for the microwave energy tank-less water heater's heat exchanger. 

As a result of analysis by Design 1st Inc. (following the recently signed engineering agreement with Wanderport), the company has been characterizing and optimizing efficiency parameters of the unit's heat exchanger (second patent application) in relation to a multitude of variations caused by flowing water (dynamic environment) within the heat exchanger chamber. According to the company, Design 1st Inc. has now successfully identified the outer parameter of the heat exchanger by removing its excess extremities not reached by the microwave energy. These dimensions provide the optimal design for maximum energy absorption within the unit's heat exchanger, which is considered to be the key driving component for the innovative unit's performance efficiency.

"Three dimensional thermal images taken of the microwave energy absorption within water displayed the exact manner in which the energy spread within the chamber and will allow us to pattern the heat exchanger design to those exact dimensions," said Robert Simoneau, Technical Advisor to Wanderport and Product Licensor. "After strategizing with colleagues at Design 1st Inc., I am very confident that the heat exchanger technology is the means to outperform other water heater performance in today's marketplace and deserves the extra time necessary to be completed properly."

Design 1st Inc. will also be determining the relative position of the inlet to the outlet of the heat exchanger in order to maintain a healthy flow rate, while slightly impeding the water flow allowing sufficient time for the energy transfer to occur. This load matching procedure requires positioning the thermal coupling between the water cooled magnetron and the heat exchanger housing for optimum energy transfer efficiency, while minimizing energy loss due to this transfer.

The information also increases the value of company's proprietary technology in its heat exchanger patent application.
