Wanderport Reaches Major Milestone
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 16, 2010) - Wanderport Corp. (PINKSHEETS: WDRP) today
announced that it has reached another major milestone when it signed a
procurement agreement with Witol Manufacture Co. Ltd, (a division of Midea
electromechanical Equipment Group) to facilitate the production of
specially designed water cooled magnetrons for Wanderport's microwave
energy tank-less water heater.
"This is a major milestone for our company, since the magnetrons are a very
important component to our product. The procurement agreement will enable
us to fast track the delivery of our product to the market and fulfill the
pending orders now reaching over $50 million," said Richard Martel,
President & CEO of Wanderport Corp. "This particular milestone was key in
developing the larger North American market and now we are positioned to
capture a large percentage of the $8 billion annual market," further added
Mr. Martel.
The Witol/Midea Group, based in the Guangdong region of the People's
Republic of China is specialized in household appliances for the
real-estate and logistics industry. The group is also one of the largest
manufacturers of electrical based components in China. Midea Group
currently has 70,000 employees, with a dozen brands including Sanyo electro
mechanical appliances targeting annual sales of over 12.5 billion dollars.
In conjunction with Wanderport's multi-million dollar sales and
distribution agreement with Australia's Gavin Ovens Holdings PTY LTD,
Midea's facilities have recently been audited by Gavin Ovens Holdings and
are held in high esteem by them for their elevated quality control
standards. In fact, the same production lines used for Sanyo electro
mechanical appliances will be utilized to produce the water cooled
magnetrons essential for Wanderport's microwave energy tank-less water
heater assembly.
