Wanova Boosts Profits for Partners Selling Desktop Virtualization

New Partner Program for Distributors, Resellers and MSPs Offers Wide Array of Benefits

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - December 16, 2010) - Wanova, Inc., the pioneer of hybrid desktop virtualization, today announced that it has launched a partner program for its Wanova Mirage™ software that offers multiple benefits to distributors, resellers and managed service providers (MSPs). The new partner program will help distributors, resellers and MSPs expand their offerings with a holistic approach to desktop management, support and continuity. Mirage is optimized for distributed enterprises, giving partners the ability to solve customer problems they could not previously address with traditional systems management or desktop virtualization solutions.

Partners that are best suited for the Wanova program should be enterprise-focused, with strong pre- and post-sales knowledge of infrastructure components including storage, network equipment and servers. Desktop centralization by nature leverages these components; qualified partners can easily package them with Wanova Mirage software to create a turnkey solution that they can market to their customers. Partners who have been reselling traditional server-hosted desktop virtualization solutions will also have valuable experience and perspective.

The Wanova partner program has three levels:

  • Distributor: Authorized to resell Wanova Mirage to customers in their territory and provide Tier 1 support to their customers.
  • Reseller: Authorized to sell Wanova Mirage to customers in their territory. Wanova will directly support these customers.
  • MSP: Authorized to sell hosted or managed services based on the Wanova solution.

Sales and Marketing Support
Among the incentives and marketing tools that Wanova offers to its partners are a pool of leads and co-marketing dollars to support field activities, drive demand and create visibility. Margin is available to partners in accordance with their sales volume and services offered. In addition, the Wanova Partner Portal acts as a central repository for all the information partners need to become successful quickly, including collateral, presentations, documentation, sales tools (including an ROI calculator) and a storage sizing guide to simplify deployment planning. Training and post-sales support are also available to all partners, and qualified partners will be authorized to assist their customers with planning, installation and training.
