Warner Bros. in Tune With Lyric Culture for "Music and Lyrics" Movie

Upcoming Feature Film "Music and Lyrics," Starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, Collaborates With High-End Apparel Line, Lyric Culture

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 25, 2007 -- Lyric Culture (PINKSHEETS: LYJN), a music-driven premium apparel line, and Warner Bros. Pictures are collaborating on limited edition jeans and t-shirts, made exclusively for the feature film "Music and Lyrics," starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore and opening nationwide on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2007. Lyric Culture will also be running a national contest in conjunction with the movie wherein one lucky winner will receive a vintage style Gibson guitar autographed by the film's stars.

Warner Bros. tapped Lyric Culture for the national tie-in because the brand was created to celebrate the lyrics of the world's greatest songs. Lyric Culture has already acquired the rights to produce music-influenced apparel by such legendary artists as The Beatles, David Bowie, The Mamas & The Papas, Marvin Gaye, Fleetwood Mac and many others.

"'Music and Lyrics' is the perfect fit for our brand. The film's title and theme celebrate the craft of songwriting and the power of lyrics," said Hanna Rochelle Schmieder, President and designer of Lyric Culture. "The foundation of Lyric Culture is built upon expressing yourself through music and we are thrilled to be working with Warner Bros. on this amazing project," she continued.

"The connection between the company name, Lyric Culture, and our title, 'Music and Lyrics,' initially brought us together, but this has truly become a very synergistic partnership," said Mimi Slavin, Senior Vice President, National Promotions, Warner Bros. Pictures. "Lyric Culture appeals to the perfect demographic for the film. We are excited to be working with them in support of our film."

Inspired by original music from the romantic comedy "Music and Lyrics," Lyric Culture has designed limited edition jeans and t-shirts -- both of which will be available to win through a dedicated radio promotion contest, beginning January 24th and running through the month of February. "Meaningless Kiss," a song off the soundtrack for "Music and Lyrics," performed by Hugh Grant and produced by Adam Schlesinger from the chart-topping band Fountains of Wayne, is the point of inspiration for both items. The limited edition "Meaningless Kiss" t-shirts will be available to purchase at the following high-end boutiques throughout the U.S.: Diane Merrick Los Angeles, Romi in San Francisco, Hard Rock Las Vegas, Octane in Denver, Tootsies in Dallas and Houston, Bill Hallman in Atlanta, LuLu Couture in Miami and online at www.lyricculture.com. Consumers will also be given the opportunity to win an autographed Gibson guitar signed by talent from the film by entering online at www.lyricculture.com or at participating retailers.

About "Music and Lyrics": Written and directed by Marc Lawrence ("Two Weeks Notice"), "Music and Lyrics" follows Alex Fletcher (HUGH GRANT), a washed-up 80s pop star who's been reduced to working the nostalgia circuit at county fairs and amusement parks. The charismatic and talented musician gets a chance at a comeback when reigning diva Cora Corman invites him to write and record a duet with her, but there's a problem -- Alex hasn't written a song in years, he's never written lyrics, and he has to come up with a hit in a matter of days. Enter Sophie Fisher (DREW BARRYMORE), Alex's beguilingly quirky plant lady, whose flair for words strikes a chord with the struggling songwriter. On the rebound from a bad relationship, Sophie is reluctant to collaborate with anyone, especially commitment-phobe Alex. As their chemistry heats up at the piano and under it, Alex and Sophie will have to face their fears -- and the music -- if they want to find the love and success they both deserve. "Music and Lyrics" will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.
