Washita River Ranch Sold by J. P. King Auction for $1.4 Million


PAULS VALLEY, OK--(Marketwire - May 21, 2010) -  Last Saturday, May 15, J. P. King Auction Company, the nation's leading real estate auction marketing firm, sold 662± acres in Pauls Valley, Okla., for over $1.4 million. The property, located just 50 miles south of Oklahoma City, was divided into 34 parcels, 31 of which sold at absolute pricing, and 33 sold in all.

The sale attracted a large crowd, including 23 registered bidders from Texas, Oklahoma, New York, Arizona and Indiana.

"The auction lasted just over two hours and was filled with enthusiastic bidding," said Craig King, president and CEO of J. P. King Auction Company. "Our results brought over $2,100 per acre for our seller."

The first tract, which was purchased by the buyer from New York, included a three-bedroom, three-bath ranch home and a three-bedroom, one-bath guest home. Other tracts included barns, outbuilding and corrals, all with about a mile of frontage along the Washita River.
