Water Technologies International Receives Purchase Order From Strategic Partner for the GR8 Water Home and Office Atmospheric Water Generators

Water Technologies International, Inc. Has Received a Purchase Order for 1,000 Home and Office Units With an Indication of Interest for an Additional 25,000 Units

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL--(Marketwire - Apr 2, 2012) - Water Technologies International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTII) announced today that it has received an initial purchase order from Atmospheric Water Systems, Inc. for 1,000 home and office units. In addition, Atmospheric Water Systems has indicated an interest in purchasing an additional 25,000 units. Atmospheric Water Systems is a California company that has been in the AWG business for the past four years. It will sell GR8 Water AWGs under a private licensing and distribution agreement. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is now $1,995. The wholesale price will be based on the purchase order quantity and the yearly volume of the distributor.

The Company's atmospheric water generators (AWG), which produce an average of seven gallons of pure drinking water per day, can now be purchased, leased or rented under 100% financing terms for qualified buyers. For a home or office unit, this equates to approximately $55 per month on a 48 month term and equates to less than $2 per day. GR8 Water will offer the 100% financing option to the U.S. distributors for individuals or businesses on single unit or multiple unit purchases.

Atmospheric Water Systems, Inc's CEO, Randal Moos, said, "The fact that the WTI home and office units are Made in the USA is a driving factor. There is an ongoing need for high quality American-made products than can benefit people in Africa and the Middle East. WTI products complement our existing line and our strategic alliance allows both companies to use their strengths to satisfy client needs. This is an exciting time for both of our companies enabling us to benefit from a position of strength. We feel that sometimes the best partners are within the same competitive arena, sorting out the strengths is the key. We look forward to many more future orders from our clients."

Water Technologies Inc.'s CEO, William Scott Tudor, said, "This purchase order give credibility to our design and quality. We are excited about getting our product out into the market place which should generate additional interest and sales. The next goal is to close a transaction on the large commercial units which we believe we are very close to receiving.
