Waterfall Continues Strategic Growth With Tetherball Acquisition

Company Further Strengthens Mobile Marketing Technology Offering and Adds Key Clients

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 24, 2015) - Waterfall, the leading cloud mobile marketing solutions provider, today announced that it has acquired assets in Tetherball's mobile marketing and service provider business that includes leading brands such as Carl's Jr., CiCi's Pizza, Dairy Queen, McDonald's and New Belgium Brewery.

Following Waterfall's recent acquisition of the mobile marketing services division of Archer USA Inc., this acquisition further accelerates Waterfall's rapid growth in key industry segments including retail and quick-service restaurants (QSR). Existing Tetherball clients will be migrated to the Waterfall platform, and certain features of the Tetherball offering will be integrated into Waterfall's platform.

Waterfall's mobile engagement solutions help marketers optimize engagement at each stage of the customer journey, resulting in additional customers, repeat store visits, increased purchase values and, ultimately, higher revenue and ROI. Tetherball optimized its platform and services to facilitate customer response/call-to-action campaigns, mobile membership couponing programs and ongoing client notifications and alerts.
