Ontario Federation of Labour Campaign to Save Our Public Services (Stop P3s) Attention: Assignment Editor, Media Editor, News Editor, Government/Political Affairs Editor TORONTO--(CCNMatthews - April 5, 2006) - The Ontario Federation of Labour is holding a Regional Workshop in Kitchener-Waterloo on Thursday April 6 to prepare local union activists to stop the McGuinty government's schemes to erode and privatize every aspect of Ontario's public services.

"This is a campaign to save our public services," OFL president Wayne Samuelson says. "All of our public services will be affected if these privatization schemes are allowed to continue. We're talking about the negative impact on education and schools, health care, roads, postal services - even meat inspection and food safety."

OFL president Wayne Samuelson and Rick Moffitt, president of the Waterloo Regional Labour Council are holding a news conference during the Regional Workshop to outline the campaign and labour's response to the government's privatization schemes.
