Wavefront Congratulates a Record 10 Companies Listed on BC's Ready to Rocket List

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - March 18, 2014) - Wavefront, Canada's Centre of Excellence for Wireless Commercialization and Research (CECR), congratulates ten companies engaged in Wavefront programs and services that were listed on the 2014 "Ready to Rocket" list. The Ready to Rocket list ranks British Columbia technology companies that are best positioned for fast growth in the technology sector. This year's group of stand-outs from the wireless & mobility sector includes: Colony Networks, Scoop, Awesense Wireless, AdvancedIO Systems Inc., Curatio, MobSafety, Optigo Networks, RewardLoop, WiMatek Systems and Encepta. This group represents 25% of this year's list of ICT, Cleantech, and Life Sciences companies showing the increasing importance of wireless and mobile solutions across sectors and their growing impact on jobs and GDP.

The annual 2014 "Ready to Rocket" list, released by BC based Rocket Builders provides accurate predictions of private companies that will likely experience significant growth, venture capital investment or acquisition by a major player in the coming year. The lists cover 3 different technology sectors - Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Cleantech (CT) and Life Science (LS). The "Ready to Rocket" lists are the only predictive lists of its kind in North America, requiring many months of sector and company analysis.
