Waywire Networks Hires Two Key Executives

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - May 6, 2014) - Waywire Networks is excited to announce that we continue to fill out our executive ranks with some extraordinary people. Today, we're pleased to announce the addition of two new leaders -- in the areas of finance and revenue. Paul Fish joins as Chief Financial Officer after a long string of successful enterprises including Maxim, Blender, Radar1 and Cinchcast. And Mark Oltarsh joins as Chief Revenue Officer, after building successful sales teams at Conde Nast, Maxim, Betawave and Thrillist.

Paul brings over 15 years of senior financial leadership with fast growth media companies on both sides of the Atlantic. His experience encompasses finance and operations in media and technology startups with multiple revenue streams.

A UK native and qualified accountant, Fish began his career at the BBC working in television, radio and the BBC's commercial arm, BBC Enterprises Ltd. He next joined Dennis Publishing UK, and was soon promoted to the position of Associate Finance Director. Fish was then appointed CFO of Dennis Publishing, Inc., publisher of Maxim, Stuff, Blender, and The Week. Further leadership roles included Radar Magazine, Dazed and Confused, Doubledown Media, and Louise Blouin Media. Most recently Fish was the CFO at Cinchcast. At Waywire Fish will oversee finance, legal and administrative operations.

Mark Oltarsh is one of those rare sales leaders who brings both passion and profits wherever he goes. A team leader who brings Waywire Networks more than 15 years of sales and revenue experience in the publishing, technology and SaaS platform sectors. He is an entrepreneur, having built and run TrafficJam, his own data/analytics startup. He was before that the CRO Thrillist, CRO of the online media network Betawave, and previously at Bauer Media Group where as VP, Group Publisher of In Touch and Life&Style Weekly. Prior to that, Oltarsh was with Spin, Conde Nast's Details and Vanity Fair and Maxim.
