Attention: Books Editor, City Editor, Education Editor, Health/Medical Editor, Lifestyle Editor MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 4, 2005) - "Most of us are over-tired, over-stressed and disconnected, wondering how our lives turned out this way." says Manon Wascher, founder of Wisdom Workshop. This is the first organization in Montreal catering exclusively to journal-writing and discussion workshops for women seeking solace in their hectic lives.

The age-old practice of journal-writing; private writing of ones life, thoughts and feelings has survived and thrived throughout human history the world-over. Men, women and children alike have garnered emotional, mental, spiritual and physical benefits from their writing. Journaling is making a 'comeback' as celebrities such as Oprah and Dr. Phil rave of its great results. Doctors, psychologists, mentors, sports coaches and other professionals recommend this writing to their clients. Among the better-known journalers are Kurt Cobain, Anne Frank, Che Guevara and Charles Darwin.

Many question how the blank page once filled can result in the journalers over all betterment. "How does one go about filling the page?" is often asked by newcomers to journaling.

The writing comes spontaneously from our lives; in the workshops we guide participants through fun techniques and exercises that invite the words onto paper. Ideas, solutions and emotions spill-out onto the pages.

"We all seem to be looking to find happiness in our lives and because we are so unique something as personal as journaling allows us to rediscover what happiness means to each of us and how we can attain it." Says Wascher, "We don't need to live the way we do."
