The Weather Network Launches WeatherEye™ Gadget for the New Windows Vista™ Operating System

The Weather Network today announced the availability of WeatherEye Vista, a new weather gadget for the Windows Vista operating system. Part of the WeatherEye family of products, WeatherEye Vista provides users a more convenient way to access and monitor weather forecasts. Customizing the desktop of Windows Vista with The Weather Network's new WeatherEye is easy and only a click away by visiting Once downloaded, Windows Vista users will be able to receive real-time observations, forecasts, weather watches and warnings at anytime from their desktop.

With Windows Vista gadgets, Canadians have access to powerful yet easy to use mini-applications that enable people to be more productive in daily life at work, at home, or on the go. Gadgets, such as the WeatherEye, are organized in an easy to use panel called the Windows Sidebar that discreetly docks on the side of the desktop in Windows Vista, or alternately, gadgets can "float" on the desktop wherever a user would like.

With The Weather Network WeatherEye gadget, users can select from over 5,100 forecast locations from around the world, offering more locations than any other weather provider in Canada. WeatherEye also provides the ability to view weather in either English or French, and select between temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
