Web Analytics Association Announces New Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 7, 2007 -- The Web Analytics Association (WAA) today announced the results of its annual board elections. The 2007-2008 board of directors will convene as a group on May 10th and includes returning board members Jim Sterne, Seth Romanow and Andrea Hadley as well as its first overseas members, Laura Paxia and Neil Mason.

Voting for the annual board elections was open to the entire WAA membership. Companies represented in this year's elected board include household brands including IBM, Intercontinental Hotels and Microsoft, as well as some of the most highly read and respected blogs in the industry, such as LunaMetrics, Occam's Razor and WebMetricsGuru. The addition of Laura Paxia of and Neil Mason of Applied Insights, speaks to the growing international reach of the association.

"The Web Analytics Association and the industry as a whole have seen a lot of growth over the past years, and we continue to move forward through advocacy, research and education," said Jim Sterne, WAA president.
