WebTech Wireless' Quadrant® Sold to Major US Pipeline Construction and Maintenance Services Company

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 19, 2010) - WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX:WEW), a leading provider of vehicle fleet location-based services (LBS) and telematics technology, today announced that it will be providing Texas-based Strike Construction LLC (Strike), a leading pipeline construction and maintenance services company, with Quadrant® remote asset management for over 270 units in its heavy equipment "yellow iron" fleet. Installation of Quadrant WT5000 Locators, including Roadvault environmental enclosures will be completed by year end.

Strike has been a WebTech Wireless customer for over four years, using Quadrant for tracking, dispatch, fleet optimization and maintenance of its support vehicle fleet. The decision to equip its yellow iron fleet, which includes equipment such as excavators, bulldozers and pipelayers, was taken after Strike's thorough evaluation of Quadrant hardware for reliable operation under harsh conditions and on a wide variety of equipment. One of the major benefits Quadrant provides Strike's yellow iron fleet is the creation of geofences to detect the unauthorized use or movement of equipment during off-hours, which helps Strike with theft prevention and recovery.

"When you have millions of dollars of mobile assets on the ground, often in very remote locations, knowing where they are at all times is critical from a management, safety and loss-reduction standpoint. We've been very pleased with the performance and reliability of Quadrant over the past four years, and adding Quadrant to our yellow iron fleet will now provide us with even greater peace of mind," said Mike Ward, Manager Fleet Compliance, Strike Construction LLC.

"We're very pleased that Strike has decided to extend Quadrant to include its yellow iron fleet. We've been working closely with them these past few months to ensure that our solution meets their specific needs, and once again we're demonstrating that Quadrant, and our team, can provide real business solutions for very different industries," said Harald Fritz, WebTech Wireless' Vice President, Sales Quadrant Fleet Solutions.

Strike is a single-source provider for companies with pipeline integrity, maintenance and new construction needs throughout the gulf coast and other regions of the US. Projects range from small meter stations to large diameter pipeline spreads. Strike has been included on Inc. Magazine's 500 and 5000 Fastest Growing Companies lists for the last three years and employs over 1,000 people. More information at: www.strikeconstruction.com.
