Webtrends CEO Alex Yoder Wins 'Executive of the Year' Stevie Award in Computer Software at 9th Annual American Business Awards(SM)

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - Webtrends CEO Alex Yoder won a Stevie Award for Executive of the Year in Computer Software at the 2011 American Business Awards last night. The awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network and broadcast nationwide on radio by the Business TalkRadio Network.

In accepting the Stevie Award, Yoder said, "I am accepting this award on behalf of all of the Webtrends employees worldwide. It is a reflection of the banner year we enjoyed in 2010 and a foreshadowing of what's to come." This award comes on the heels of Webtrends winning the American Technology Award for best eCommerce Platform just last week.

Stevie Awards were presented in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Best New Product of the Year. More than 2,800 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.

More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the Finalists and Stevie Award winners.

Yoder assumed the reigns as Webtrends' CEO in 2008, as the company was entering an era of transformation. A powerhouse CEO, he proved he was exactly what Webtrends required to drive change -- and the Stevie Award is a direct reflection of this success. Yoder kicked off 2010 with the launch of industry-first Webtrends Analytics for Facebook, which blazed a new trail in social media marketing and created record-breaking momentum for Webtrends. By the end of the year Webtrends enjoyed the coveted position as the only end-to-end Facebook Marketing solution. With the boost on the social analytics side, Yoder knew it was the ideal time to push forward into mobile analytics and to diversify Webtrends' offerings. Today, Webtrends offers the only unified analytics solution, incorporating mobile, social and Web channels.

"In the past year and a half, Webtrends has experienced unprecedented success through strategic business growth and acquisitions, customer expansion and retention, as well as industry partnerships," said Yoder. "We've solidified our position as a one-stop-shop for digital marketers, and set ourselves up for calculated expansion. Webtrends has achieved its highest sales to date for FY2011 (1Q through 3Q), setting the company up for a record sales year."
