Webtrends Expands Facebook® Preferred Marketing Developer Program Relationship

Webtrends Accepted as Preferred Marketing Developer by Facebook for Pages, Apps and Insights

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 19, 2012) - Webtrends, the global leader in digital marketing optimization and relevance through real-time, unified analytics and customer intelligence, announced today that it has expanded its participation in Facebook's highly selective Preferred Marketing Developer Program.

Facebook has expanded the preferred designation for Webtrends beyond Apps to also include Pages and Insights. With this announcement, Webtrends expands its leadership position in the burgeoning discipline of social marketing. Webtrends is one of a select number of companies that Facebook has chosen to share its marketing software development platform with, and one of nine in the world to be certified for the development of three or more Facebook preferred designations.

Webtrends customers can manage Facebook Pages for their brands, including scheduling posts and moderating content. They can also build a variety of apps. And, through Insights and Webtrends Analytics, can measure performance across Facebook ads, apps and across digital channels.

"We're delighted to expand our participation in Facebook's prestigious Preferred Marketing Developer Program," said Hope Frank, CMO, Webtrends. "This designation honors Webtrends' innovation and excellence in social marketing. We look forward to continuing to grow as a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer and to create a range of must-have products for the savvy social marketer."
