Webtrends Extends Executive Team to Include Technology Industry Veteran Jeff Clayton

Clayton Lends Three Decades of Experience as Vice President of Sales for North America

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - Jul 18, 2011) - Webtrends, the global leader in unified mobile, social and web analytics and engagement, announced today that technology industry veteran Jeff Clayton will join the executive team as vice president of sales for North America. With over three decades of experience, Clayton joins the executive team to drive strategic leadership for Webtrends in FY12 and beyond, following the company's announcement earlier this month of its highest bookings numbers in company history for FY11.

Clayton brings 30 years of experience in database marketing, marketing automation, workflow management, email, web analytics, behavioral targeting, search, and ad serving. He has previously held consulting, product development, business development and sales management positions with Fortune 100 through 2000 companies.

In his role, Clayton developed technology solutions and created partner relations to support Merkle's current digital analytics, integrated social marketing, mobile, site side optimization and analytically driven display media practices. As the VP of business development at Touch Clarity, Clayton played a key role in the company's $62 million acquisition.

Additionally, Clayton has held vice president of sales and business development positions at Responsys, Double Click, Unica and ROI Direct.
