Webtrends Hits Record Growth and Maintains Innovative Momentum

Experienced 85% New Business Growth Year Over Year for the Six Months Ending June 2010

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - September 29, 2010) - Webtrends achieved record new customer bookings and continued growth for the second consecutive year. Since CEO Alex Yoder took the Webtrends helm in the summer of 2008, he has broadened the company's vision, product-base and revenue streams and has established Webtrends as a leading innovator in the digital marketing optimization industry.

Expanded Market Offerings
In July 2009, Webtrends acquired Widemile to provide customers with Webtrends Optimize, a multivariate testing and site optimization technology and service. Over the past six months, Optimize adoption has soared. Webtrends has added more than 30 new customers that leverage Optimize to test, segment, target and personalize their online marketing content, resulting in higher conversion rates and better customer interactions.

Webtrends also blazed a new trail in the social media marketing space by launching Analytics for Facebook in February 2010. It was the first offering to provide marketers with comprehensive tracking and measurement for campaigns inside Facebook.

In August 2010, Webtrends acquired Transpond and entered a licensing agreement with Marin Software, introducing these two new solutions to the market:

  • Webtrends Apps - enables any marketer to easily create, publish, manage and track campaign applications across social and mobile platforms with more than 20 engagement apps, conversion apps and content apps.
  • Webtrends Ads - optimizes return on ad spend by creating, measuring and improving performance marketing acquisition across paid search, mobile search, Facebook ads, the Google Display Network and more.

Webtrends has also established itself as the leader in the mobile analytics space. This week the company announced a partnership with Research In Motion to provide the BlackBerry® developer community with enterprise-class analytics.
