Webtrends Names New CTO, VP of Field Operations

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - May 19, 2016) - Peter Crossley has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer at Webtrends. Formerly the Director of Product Architecture and Technology, Crossley has been with Webtrends since 2009 and has been a driving force in the innovation and adoption of new technologies.

"Pete has a proven track record of staying ahead of emerging technology, driving a vision for our platform and architecture and ensuring Webtrends solutions are on the leading edge," said Greg Washburn, VP of Engineering. "His passion for technology, focus on delivering customer value, and commitment to Webtrends success comes through loud and clear to all who engage with him. His current focus on Infinity is producing some of the most remarkable, game-changing innovation I've seen in my career."

Crossley and his team have been focused on building the Webtrends Infinity™ big data platform and its first associated application, Infinity Analytics, which will be available to the market this year.

"The questions we are asking Infinity to answer are very challenging and to be part of the force in adding new capabilities and driving new technologies is both enjoyable and very rewarding," said Crossley. "I look forward to seeing the new problems that Webtrends Infinity is able to answer for our clients in the future."

In preparation for the release of Infinity Analytics, Webtrends has hired Rich Allocco as VP of North American Field Operations to lead the sales and service teams. With the hiring, Abed Farhan moves to Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Alliances, where he will be responsible for driving growth and developing strategic alliances. Allocco has extensive experience and a track record of success in field leadership roles, previously serving as the Chief Customer Officer at Blazent and in executive roles at Remedy, Siemens and IBM.

"It's an exciting time to join the Webtrends team," said Allocco. "Infinity is a revolutionary technology and it will alleviate many of the frustrations companies experience in the analytics and optimization space today. I'm eager to continue to get it into the hands of our existing clients and soon to the broader market."
