WeeWorld Users Give Virtual Gifts to Their Valentines

WeeWorld Now Offers More Than 40 Gifts for Users to Give to Friends

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - February 11, 2009) - Holidays always spur spikes in user activity on WeeWorld, the most popular interactive avatar community and home of the WeeMee. Now teens who may not be able to buy that sparkly ring or cuddly teddy bear for their valentine this year in real life, are finding an alternative in virtual communities like WeeWorld. Today WeeWorld officially announced that it has added a third virtual good offering, gifts. The more than 26 million WeeMees around the globe can now send and receive more than 25 Valentine's Day gifts, as well as everyday presents to friends within the virtual community. Since launching Gifting earlier this month, WeeWorld users have been sending virtual gifts, ranging from puppies in love and naughty devils to sports cars and hot tamales, at the rate of hundreds of thousands per month.

their friends; gifting allows them to send premium, personalized messages
    with fun images and comments.
