The Weiss Treasury Only Money Market Fund -- A Wise Choice for Capital Preservation, Liquidity and Current Income for Financial Market Turmoil

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL--(Marketwire - October 17, 2008) - Weiss Capital Securities, Inc., a full-service, registered broker-dealer announced today that it has chosen not to participate in the U.S. Treasury's temporary money market fund guarantee program for its Weiss Treasury Only Money Market Fund (Symbol: WEOXX).

On September 19, 2008 the U.S. Treasury announced a temporary money market fund guarantee program for publicly offered money market mutual funds. If a money market fund falls below the $1 net asset value, the insurance is triggered.

There is a fee charged to money market funds for participation in this government-sponsored program. The government's guarantee program is to be financed with up to $50 billion from the Treasury's Exchange Stabilization Fund, which was first created in 1934.

The Weiss Treasury Only Money Market Fund is eligible to participate in the Treasury's Temporary Guarantee Program.

On behalf of the Weiss Treasury Only Money Market Fund, Weiss Capital Securities president Sharon Daniels said, "While many funds may choose to participate in this temporary money market fund guarantee offered by the Treasury, the Weiss Treasury Only Money Market Fund is unique in that it invests almost entirely in U.S. Treasury securities, which benefit from the DIRECT full faith and credit guarantee of the U.S. government. This is the strongest credit guarantee in the world."

Daniels continued, "The Weiss Treasury Only Money Market Fund has been providing maximum safety and liquidity since 1996 by investing in short-term, triple-A rated U.S. Treasury securities. Capital preservation and liquidity are its primary goals and we are careful to manage the securities in order to maintain a constant $1 share value.

"For over a decade and during the recent credit market turmoil The Weiss Treasury Only Money Market Fund has met its goal of capital preservation, liquidity and current income and under a wide variety of financial market conditions."

Money market funds are not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) or any other governmental agency. Although the fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in this fund.
