Prior to Intacct, Welcome Wagon had been using Intuit QuickBooks® with a homegrown CRM solution to manage customer billing, order entry and other day-to-day financial processes. Switching to a complete, cloud-based system from Intacct will enable Welcome Wagon to reduce costs, streamline processes and enhance visibility into company performance.

In business since 1928, Welcome Wagon has provided its services to more than 75 million United States households, including American Presidents such as John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon and George W. Bush as they moved into the White House. When in-home visits stopped in 1988, Welcome Wagon shifted its approach to mailboxes and the Internet. Having outgrown QuickBooks and needing to replace its homegrown CRM application, Welcome Wagon began looking for a new financial management solution. Above all, the move to Intacct will provide Welcome Wagon executives with fast and easy access to the financial data they need to make real-time business decisions. From web-based dashboards, executives can view sales reports sorted by sales rep and region, as well as cash availability and accounts receivable reports. Before Intacct, Welcome Wagon relied on its IT staff to produce reports that relied too heavily on one or two persons trained to use the homegrown system.
