Wells Fargo Insurance Services Opens Orlando Office

CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 27, 2007 -- Wells Fargo Insurance Services announced today the opening of its first office in Orlando, Fla. The new Wells Fargo Insurance Services office is located at 801 International Parkway, Lake Mary, and offers both commercial and group health and benefits insurance services, as well as extensive experience with the health care industry.

Shawn F. Smith has been appointed Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Orlando Wells Fargo Insurance Services office. Joining Smith are Kim McGee, Vice President/Account Manager, and Kim Zastrow, Vice President/Senior Account Manager.

Smith has more than 17 years of insurance experience and joins Wells Fargo Insurance Services from Marsh. While at Marsh, Smith assumed various business development roles and was the health care practice leader for Florida and sales leader for the company's Orlando and Tampa offices. In addition to health care, he has experience in group benefits for health, dental, life, AD&D, and disability lines of coverage.

McGee has more than 15 years of health care insurance industry experience in the hospitals, managed care, senior living, and professional liability for physicians sectors. Joining Wells Fargo Insurance Services from Marsh, she was responsible for the oversight of a $2 million book of health care business. McGee holds an Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation and a bachelor's degree in administration and management from the University of Phoenix.

Zastrow also joins Wells Fargo Insurance Services from Marsh. Zastrow has 19 years of customer services experience, primarily in the health care industry. She has more than 27 years of insurance experience. At Marsh, Zastrow was the health care client services leader and responsible for the oversight of a $3 million book of health care business. Clients included hospital and health care systems, managed care entities and senior living facilities. Zastrow is a Certified Risk Manager and is currently pursuing a Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management designation.
